Take your pick!

This site is still in its infancy, but the bundle of resources is steadily growing…

This is a great series to start with if you’re feeling lost, confused and frustrated, wondering how something as terrible as your illness – and all the grief it entails – could possibly be part of God’s good plan for your life.

Following the Fruits of the Spirit, from Galatians chapter 5, this series explores (1) the challenges we face as Christians living with chronic health conditions – physical and/or mental; and (2) how we can keep growing as Christians even as our bodies fail us daily. (Gee, that sounds a bit daunting… But it’s not, I promise! Each post is infused with the sweet gospel of grace.)

Fruitful #5 is almost ready to be published. In the meantime you can read Fruitful #1 to #4 by clicking on the image above.

How do we navigate church relationships with people who don’t seem to “get” us? How can we manage the extra activity of church attendance when we’re only just scraping through, living one day (or one hour) at a time?

If you dearly love God but you struggle with church, then this series is for you. It starts off with a list of the most common obstacles for Christians, like you and me, who battle with ongoing health issues. The subsequent posts focus on scenes from Jesus’ life – he really does “get” what we’re going through!

Interspersed with these scenes are plenty of practical, gritty, modern-day anecdotes that I’m sure will have you nodding, grinning, and maybe even cringing! Post #3 is almost ready to go; posts 1 and 2 can be found by clicking the image above.

This is a series of interviews about church. Regular Christians, like you and me, talking openly about how they’ve struggled and what they’ve learnt since becoming chronically ill.

I’m finding it absolutely fascinating to hear people’s different perspectives! I’m loving it! I hope you’ll find it as helpful as I have. 😀

A good fit?

If this sounds like a good fit for you, then I invite you to link up with the Fruitful Today community – click here for more info. The good news is, you won’t just be connecting with me; you’ll be connecting with a bunch of other like-minded people:

Christians trying to figure out how they can possibly serve God when getting out of bed, having a shower and getting dressed seem like gargantuan tasks!!!
